of true love...

Choosing a venue to get MARRIED at is such a big responsibility, not to mention the hours put into searching for the right spot, the venues availability, and the flexibility of the venue. But luckily, you have me. I am going to be breaking down a few of my favs and telling you why it is I love them so.

Heated and Cooled Barn

Need I say more? Seriously, a Wedding Photographers dream in the midst of those July weddings, don't forget those chilly winter Weddings too!

This venue has been completely redone from start to finish, it has an absolutely beautiful farmhouse available for guest use that boats a huge kitchen, master bedroom with 2 additional rooms upstairs, a wrap around porch and a getting-ready makeup room equipped with mirrors and vanities. The large, gorgeous red barn has windows that see for miles into golden wheat. Enjoy the nice warm fire inside the corn crib while watching the dancefloor located just outside of the second barn on a cement patio or join the party inside that barn and grab a drink, stop and smell the perfectly planted flowers along the way. This place seriously has it ALL.

Open Barn = Open Breeze

This venue stole my breathe away. It has a dark moody, modern feel with a heated and cooled GREENHOUSE - You heard me right! They often use this greenhouse as the dancefloor, which I think is so cool, I have personally flown my drone over top as people danced their little hearts out.. The results? Amazing footage.

Back to the venue, it has a guesthouse on the premises available for rent (the images below speak for themselves), a field full of veggies and plants including grape vines surrounding the main setup, a getting ready barn split for bride + groom rooms, and an aisle that is worth hyperventilating over. When I booked my first wedding here, I physically screamed.

Silos + S'mores

I don't think I've shot a wedding here yet that hasn't included S'mores as a party favor. This venue also has a brick farmhouse on location, the upstairs housing the bride and bridesmaids getaway; every wish came true for multiple rooms with tons of natural lighting. wide open space. The Groom + Groomsmen get their own building, a mancave, if you will which is also full of personality. The half open half closed barn where the ceremony is typically held is not only unique but great for photo/videographers with the high sidelines used to grab every angle. Don't miss out on this gem!

Stonegate Hops

The open field with the unique added poles is enough to knock some contenders off the list when checking out this venue. If that doesn't do the trick, maybe the old brick farmhouse equipped to house both the bride, bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen will. I will admit this farmhouse has a bit of a confusing layout, it still has great areas for photos. The large barn has restrooms and is decorated with high ceilings. Listen to the waterfall during ceremony and remines of your love!
